Our Mission

The Brony Chronicles is a fan-made documentary about the Brony community and how it has grown into the phenomenon that it is today. What started as an idea has grown into a full-fledged project that seeks to show the world from an inside perspective the history, values and talent of Brony culture. From our humble origins to going viral on the Internet, The Brony Chronicles strives to deliver a fully comprehensive documentary that will shed light on Bronies and how they got to where they are today.

Specific topics to be discussed in The Brony Chronicles include:

-the origins of Bronies

-an overview of the show and the staff of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

-the evolution of the Brony community

-interviews with talented Bronies of different sections of the fandom

-the sociological perspective of being a Brony

Overall, we are trying to create a documentary from the perspective of the fans so we can show the world why Bronies defy mainstream society’s definition of masculinity. We are very much aware of the current documentary being created by John De Lancie and his team and we wait with great anticipation to see what they produce! We believe that The Brony Chronicles, being from an inside point of view from the fanbase itself, will compliment their work as it differs from their project in many ways.

In other words, The Brony Chronicles will be the other side of the coin on this topic as it is a documentary by the fans themselves. If all plans go accordingly, the world will be staring upon two documentaries that will give Bronies justice and perhaps change the perspective of what masculinity truly means to society.
